Lloyd International Translations’ New Client Gateway
Keen to offer maximum flexibility and facilitate 24/7 communications, Lloyd International Translations (LIT) developed and launched the LIT Client Gateway back in 2003.
Previous versions of the Client Gateway met with the original remit, to allow clients to obtain up-to-date information regarding the status of their projects, request quotations online, send files securely and amend details directly using their browser.
However, while creating a new multilingual content managed website and turnpage digital documentation, LIT felt it was an ideal opportunity to enhance both the look and feel and level of functionality offered by the Client Gateway.
Enhancements to the latest version of the Client Gateway focus on the user-friendliness of the system coupled with increased levels of project visibility.
New Client Gateway features include:

Improved project tracking with the ability to sort projects by contact, project number, or project status |

Different levels of users. Corporate users can view projects across multiple divisions, company users have access only to projects for that specific site and individual users can only see their individual projects |

The ability to place orders as well as request quotes |

A facility to specify a local review stage and nominate the reviewers for each language |
 |
A separate screen to create and modify quotation templates for future reuse |
 |
The ability to request passwords, which are emailed automatically |
 |
The ability to add an optional client logo to the Gateway screens |
