The Translation Process

We are accredited under ISO 9001:2000, so no matter how big or small your project you can be sure that the same rigorous quality control procedures apply.

Process 1: Evaluation and Quotation At this stage, the files are analysed and the methodology determined. For example, should Translation Tools be used with this project? Will the project require a team of translators to work on it to meet the required delivery date? Will any modifications be required to the source files, which will ultimately lead to cost savings for the client at the translation stage?

Process 2: Order and Set-up The translators and proofreaders are appointed and the files are prepared for translation.

Process 3: Translation and Proofing Files are sent for translation, then proofread, making any necessary corrections.

Process 4: Desktop publishing At this stage, the layout is adjusted to accommodate the text and the final layout is checked.

Process 5: Client Approval, Delivery and Archive For our clients’ protection, all files are archived to tape for at least 12 months.
