Lloyd International presents at ISTC 2002 Conference – September 2002

Lloyd International Translations, a technical translation company with more than 14 years’ experience in the IT, telecommunications, automation, engineering and automotive industries, presented a paper at the Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators (ISTC) Conference in September 2002.

The theme of the 2002 conference was “Tools of the Trade”. At the conference, Lloyd International drew on the company’s extensive practical experience of managing complex specialist translation and localization projects to offer tips to authors of documents intended for translation.

The aim of the presentation was to explain how by thinking about the source document’s style and layout in advance, subsequent translation can be done more cost-effectively and efficiently.
