Lloyd International launches a Client Gateway
Lloyd International is one of Europe’s leading specialist
technical translation companies. On 1 September 2003, the firm launched
a secure gateway to its project management system that allows clients
to monitor the progress of their translation project at any time.
Building on the firm’s reputation for unrivalled customer
service, the new system enables Lloyd International to offer clients

Although state-of-the-art, Lloyd International’s system is
very easy to use. In one click, clients can log in from the firm’s
website. By simply completing the boxes on-screen – to indicate,
for example, when a document is required – they can be confident
of providing the right information to enable Lloyd International’s
staff to respond quickly and effectively.
Every stage in the lifecycle of a project is visible online. Right
from the original enquiry, quotation, setting up contracts and order
entry, through the planning and management of the project, to dispatch
of the completed translation, invoicing and archiving. At any time,
from anywhere in the world, clients can check the date when a quote
was made or an order was placed, the due date for completion of
a project and its current status. They know instantly, for example,
whether a document is still being translated, awaiting approval,
or completed, and whether it has been invoiced. Clients can also
edit their own contact details and change their password at any
time.
