Lloyd International Translations Invests in SDL Translation Management System (TMS)

Lloyd International Translations (LIT) is continually looking for innovative ways to automate and optimise its processes, to further improve its service offerings and benefit its clients.

In July 2009, Lloyd International Translations (LIT) became the 3rd leading localization service provider to join the SDL Partner Program as a Premier Partner, thereby adding SDL Translation Management System (SDL TMS) to its existing portfolio of TM technology tools.

Investment in the SDL TMS shows added commitment by LIT to optimising the quality and value of its services, through the skilled use of translation technology tools.

As a Premier Partner in the program, LIT will benefit from closer technical collaboration with SDL. Fully involved in the SDL beta program, LIT will be at the fore in terms of product capabilities and the resulting benefits available to its customers.

The SDL TMS comprises centralised translation memory (TM), terminology and dictionaries, combined with automated QA checks, to leverage the maximum from global information assets. A tight integration of authoring and content management with translation assets ensures previous translations are reused wherever possible.

LIT believes that using SDL TMS will allow the company to better serve its clients’ translation needs: delivering an improved customer experience and increased customer satisfaction, whilst offering enhanced competitive solutions to its clients.
