LIT and Moxy - a fighting force
Moxy Engineering, the Norwegian-based manufacturer of six-wheel-drive articulated dump trucks, and client of Lloyd International Translations, has just completed an order for the Norwegian military.
The order comprised 10 MT31 trucks for use by the Norwegian army in both national and international operations. The deal represented a first for Moxy who have been building articulated haulers at the company's state of the art facilities near Molde in Norway for the past 30 years.
Moxy won the order due to its industry leading truck design, high quality of manufacture and its flexible approach towards fulfilling the requirements of the customer. The highly modified trucks required additional features to be designed within a short time frame. Jamie Thomson, Managing Director of Moxy explains, "Moxy's philosophy is to listen to the customer and then provide what they want; it was this approach that clinched the deal for us. Our adaptability meant we could tailor the trucks to the military's exact specification with a very short turnaround time".
Confronted with the task of finding a like-minded translation service provider to translate their operator manuals, Moxy chose Lloyd International Translations (LIT).
LIT rose to the challenge, their flexibility and partnership approach ensuring that the Norwegian manual was delivered on schedule and within budget. Translation into 8 further languages including French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish and Ukrainian quickly followed.
Moxy’s global business continues to go from strength to strength, backed up by LIT’s groundbreaking translations.
