Lloyd International Translations (LIT) retains BSI standard

LIT successfully achieves its ISO 9001:2008 re-certification

Leading technical translations company LIT has been successfully registered to ISO 9001 since 2001. In April this year, LIT had its three-year strategic review which was conducted by an external BSI Auditor at the company headquarters in Tarporley, Cheshire. The objective of the three-year strategic review was to assess the ongoing effectiveness and continual improvements of LIT’s management system against the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. Quality and customer satisfaction lie at the core of LIT’s company values and so LIT had no problem passing the three-year audit.

“LIT strives for continual improvement wherever possible, always raising standards and seeking further customer satisfaction” says Vicky Robinson, LIT’s Quality Manager “As well as gaining re-certification, the three-year audit also allows LIT to confirm the forward strategic assessment plan.”

ISO 9001 is a set of standards for quality management and is the most widely-employed quality standard in the world, with more certifications than any other standard. The framework is currently being used by nearly 1 million organisations in 161 countries and sets the standards not only for quality management systems but management systems in general.
