LIT announces new appointment to Board of Directors

Lloyd International Translations (LIT) has appointed Liz Athey as Operations Director

Liz Athey joined LIT in June 2009 as Operations Manager and will take up her new role on the Board as Operations Director with immediate effect. She brings 16 years of experience in multilingual publishing and will report directly to LIT’s Chairman and CEO, Mike Lloyd.

Mike said “I am pleased to welcome Liz onto LIT’s Board of Directors. Her breadth of experience and understanding of the translation business will bring considerable strength to the organisation as we continue to implement our growth strategy.”

Liz holds a First Class Honours degree in French and Business Studies and prior to joining LIT spent 10 years with Roevin Translation Services.

LIT already provides first-class customer service to its growing global client base and has the ability to become one of the major players in the translation business.”

Liz Athey will head up one of the largest teams at LIT. The LIT Operations Team comprises a group of dedicated experts in translation, localization engineering, desktop publishing, vendor relations and project management.
