Lloyd International Translations ends 2009 on a high

In spite of the challenging economy, Lloyd international Translations experienced significant growth in 2009, raising its year-on-year sales by 11%.

LIT fully recognises that companies need to operate with less, or at least the same level of manpower and lower budgets, therefore finding ways to streamline translation processes and reduce costs for its customers has been crucial in 2009 and remains a key priority in 2010.

2009 snapshot:

	Revenues grew by 11%, a strong performance in a difficult market
	Significant wins, including new clients in the Energy Management, Engineered Products, Water Purification, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Electronics and Construction Equipment sectors
	Welcomed MP Stephen O’Brien to its offices, to celebrate (reaching) 20 years in business
	Passed a quality audit for a global manufacturer (with net sales in the region of $10 billion) with flying colours
	Appointed a French Business Development Manager to support and grow business within the French manufacturing sector
	Became the 3rd leading localization service provider to join the SDL Partner Program as a Premier Partner
	Signed a strategic partnership agreement with Across Systems, adding the Across Language Server™ solution to its portfolio of independent TM technology tools
	Successfully retained ISO 9001 certification from the British Standards Institute (accreditation held since 2001)

While trading conditions remain challenging, business levels significantly increased during the second half of 2009 and with increased staffing levels (up by 20%) in place, the company is well positioned to provide world class localization services to clients, existing and new.
